Most of you would have known that four years ago I started bleaching and dying my hair. From orange to blonde to platinum to pink to ginger and red for the past two years.
Finally it has faded to a pinkish copper red color. Because for the past five months I didn’t really maintain it.
Before any of you decide to go red, please know that it’s not easy to maintain.
After weeks of consideration, today I’ve finally got rid of my red hair.
Before the whole thing started #nofilter
1st step: Bleaching to get red of the red tone.
I had to bleach twice and the whole process took two hours.
Because my hair has been bleached and it’s very damage. So my stylist took extra care.
It wasn’t just to remove the Reds but also to even it out and make sure the colouring later would be toned out nicely too.
Second round bleaching
By the time he was done after two hours. This was the result.
Puffy, damaged bleached hair.
Colouring starts and it was a two tone colouring. The whole application process was 30 minutes
Washing the colors
Finally, after 7 hours
Yes I’m really liking my new hair color. Although I’m still trying to get use to the new color and the “no-bright” or red/ginger hair anymore.
